Mrs Lee on the loose!!!

It's the last day for Mrs Lee. She gave us some new games. They are probability games. Some are really hard but some are real easy. Our favourite game is duck racing. She let us make up some probability games. It was really fun.

Dino meets a famous V8 driver

Dino had an exciting weekend racing carts at the Nelson Cart Club and came second to the South Island Champion in the Nelson Club Champs.

We also had a visit from Jason Richards. Jason started cart racing in Nelson and has moved on the racing V8 motor cars all over the place.

I felt astonished when I met him in person.

New games for Moturoa

Our new student teacher Mrs Lee has given us some new reading games to play. One of them are you have to make new words with the pieces of paper. Alyshia is playing this game with Mrs Gray. The other game is where you have to get from start to finish by answering the questions that you land on. These are pictures of people playing it. Everyone is enjoying these games.

Jordan's experiment

For homework this week we had to pick a landform and talk about it. Jordan did a talk about volcanic eruptions. Then she made a volcano out of paper mache and made it erupt. It was so cool!!! We all enjoyed the talks.

Lara also did a talk on volcanoes and she had a experiment to go with it. Lara made her volcano out of clay and made it explode as well. It was awsome hearing all of the talks.
